I'm using kopete from kde3.2.1 in Sid (updated daily) :
when I close it from the 'close window' button from fluxbox(0.1.14-3),
the kopete procces still runs, so that it cannot be re-launched (from
the menu or a console).
The problem doesn't appear with kopete-menu > file > quit or CTRL-Q.Really sorry for this poor 'bug-report', I'm not used to send some and don't have time to make a fine one :-/
