Package: kdemultimedia-dev Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: wishlist
Hi, IMHO noatun really sucks and I want to get it off my system. However that also removed kdemultimedia-dev. That doesn't look right to me, though. Maybe you can either split package noatun to e.g. noatun and libnoatun and have kdemultimedia-dev only depend on the latter or split files out of kdemultimedia-dev into noatun-dev or simply put _all_ files belonging to noatun into package noatun IMHO installing 2.6MB just for three .so symlinks is really not practical as I thought that one goal of the whole splitting was to be able to keep an installation small. I guess, the same could be said about the other "front-end" packages that kdemultimedia-dev depends on: kmid, kmix, krec, kscd Although those four together(!) are only 1MB, so killing the noatun dependency is more important.
