Package: kdm Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I have been using kde 3.1, and kdm was set up to launch the "default session" after logging in. After logging in once to kde, this worked fine. After the update to 3.2, logging in only started a single console, which surely is some kind of fallback after not finding the default session. After resetting the session type to kde manually, everything is fine. IMO, the update to kde 3.2 should either try to preserve the "default session type", or - if preservation is not possible - should reset the appropriate option in the menu so that kdm doesn't try to start an unavailable session type. Otherwise, the kde 3.2 update went quite smoothly. Good work!
