Okay, well one last post. I did upgrade xlibs and the problem did not occur for a couple of days. But it is now occuring again.
Yes, very difficult to reproduce but once it starts happening it happens alot. I do not know how the problem could be related to xlibs if this sort of issue does not occur with other applications. I have not seen automatic selection occur with nautilis or any other apps that I use.
