package kdm severity 208205 wishlist tags 208205 +wontfix thanks IMHO, this is out of scope for KDM. It's the X server's job to notify the clients it is shutting down. Doing it from kdm has the following probs:
1. doesn't fix the case when the X server shuts down for another reason 2. your patch only works when the user session is indeed KDE, which may well not be the case. cheers domi
