This is really, really, really Frequently Asked Question. "kde" is a metapackage that depends on ALL of kde, and kdegraphics is metapackage depending ALL of kde's graphics apps. It may look "scary", when you run "apt-get remove kappithinkidontneed", and it tells you that it is removing a package named "kde". However, it does not mean that your kde desktop will be removed, only that your system no longer has FULL kde installed. Install kde-core if you want a more minimal setup, and then install each kde app you want. However, you are micromanaging your system, which is foolish. Disk space is cheap, your _TIME_ spent tuning disk space is expensive, and you might be wasted, if some day you install a scanner, buy adigital camera, or have kids visiting who just want to play some game. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
