Hi,
I noticed that certain relatively simple DVI documents are not
displayed correctly with kdvi while they are displayed correctly with
xdvi. Please see

for an example. There you will find a simple Latex document (test.tex)
where I have added only one figure, consisting of two subfigures. Both
subfigures are "pstex" files, generated from an Xfig image (a.fig).
When using xdvi to display test.dvi, it looks correct and similar to
the PS and PDF versions. I can see two squares.
However, when using kdvi to display the same file, I can see only one
square, the one in subfigure a. The square in subfigure b is missing.
It is completely empty, no warning or such is displayed either.

test.dvi":
