Hi, I am the pilot-link Debian package maintainer. I contact you because your package kdepim-kfile-plugins has a dependency on libpisock8 (provided by the Debian source package pilot-link).
The next version of pilot-link (0.12.0) will have a new API and will not be source or binary compatible to the actual version (0.11.8). The new library is named libpisock9. I provide a package for a preview of the next version 0.12.0-pre2 [1]. I uploaded the packages in Debian experimental but the packages are still in the NEW queue [2] waiting for manual edition. pilot-link 0.12.0-pre2 is also provided on my Debian web page [3]. I provide these packages so you can work on kdepim-kfile-plugins to check that it compiles and work OK. I guess you will have to work with kdepim-kfile-plugins upstream. Note that I will NOT upload any 0.12 pilot-link package in unstable before sarge is out (as sarge should be release soon now :-). You should report bug regarding the packaging using the Debian BTS and bugs regarding pilot-link itself using upstream BTS [4]. Contact me if you have any questions/remarks.
