The behavious of not bookmarking pages happens only when you try to bookmark using the toolbar shortcuts. If you bookmark using the menu items i.e. "Bookmarks" => "Add Bookmarks" or any other Sub Bookmark folder, it bookmarks the page successfully Hope this provides some more inputs.
