Package: kaddressbook Version: 3.3.1-3 I can't exactly tell since when this happens, but it's been at least a month in testing. What I do: - open kmail - click "tools|address book" (kaddressbook opens) - click the "new contact" button (KAddressbook says: The resource '/home/uli/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf' is locked by application ''.)
Note the two single quotes after 'application', obviously the detection who is locking this file fails. Further notes: - This also happens if I run kaddressbook on its own and first killed every other kde-related program. - I'm not running the KDE desktop but just a windowmanager. - This affects editing anything, not just creating new contact entries. - The same error message pops up when closing kaddressbook, followed by a second one: "Unable to save to resource 'resource-name'.
