Hi Window manager mange windows only. They cannot restore the terminal context because they know nothing about it.
BUT multi-gnome-terminal for example has the save session feature (you can even make it automatic, in case of crash the session is retore). Either this bug should be moved to "general" or report against your favorite terminal if it miss this feature. Sorry for the delay , but the bug report was not in an obvious place (i was looking for wmaker bug report , knowing the solution to your problem but don't knwo how the wmaker maintenair could now about multi-gnome-terminal advanced features). Bug of this like have a tiny chance to be noticed in "general" , elsewher they are lost (6 years to find it :-/ ) Cheers Alban Errata : i just found out you reported to gnome-terminal and konsole too. They may have known i don't knwo why they did not respond. Maybe they did not know either. Maybe you or a maintenair could merge them all move them to "general". Else you would have to bug every terminal applications out there, though Mass bug should be approved by debian-devel first in my opinion. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
