Hi Jason,
kiconedit recommends kdebase-libs. However kdebase-libs does not exist.
I'm afraid I don't see that recomends line. Can you send the full output of `apt-cache show kiconedit` and `apt-cache policy kiconedit`.

I see nothing about kdebase-libs here. I also uninstalled kiconedit and reinstalled and it did not make the recommendation. However when I installed it earlier today it did recommend kdebase-libs. When I searched for kdebase-libs it told me the package did not exist but was referenced by another package.
Is this a problem with an out-of-date cache? This seems odd since I've done an "apt-get update" certainly within the last 24h.
