*Some*, not all.

Absolutely not, pardon my bad english if that was what was understood.

It's more about pinging the maintainer(s), figuring out to work with,
what is expected, and starting with small changes. Since there have been no
activity since last year, and cups just broke on my system, I was trying to
help.

My bad for https://salsa.debian.org/printing-team/cups/-/merge_requests/16,
it should have been a new quilt patch.

Speaking of patches,
LANG=C quilt push -a
Applying patch
0007-Keep-foomatic-PPDs-recommended-stanzas-in-NickNames.patch
patching file scheduler/cups-driverd.cxx
Hunk #1 FAILED at 241.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 279.
2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- rejects in file scheduler/cups-driverd.cxx
Patch 0007-Keep-foomatic-PPDs-recommended-stanzas-in-NickNames.patch can be
reverse-applied

Which is weird.
