Okay, I see that the problem is in linking libsvxcorelo.so, not slideshow. Sorry about the duplicate report. I see that dbtools.o contains at least some of the undefined symbols. I see that libsvxcorelo.so is linked against libdbtoolslo on mips but not on hppa. Where is the library dependency list defined or generated for libsvxcorelo.so?
