Package: libreoffice-writer
Version: 1:3.4.3-1
Severity: normal
Hi!
Since a recent upgrade (1:3.3.3-4+b1 -> 1:3.4.3-1 , I think), I am
no longer able to select the font named URW Chancery L in lowriter.
The font selector shows URW Bookman L, URW Gothic L, and URW Palladio L,
but *not* URW Chancery L.
It used to be selectable, but this seems to no longer be the case.
I tried the same thing in localc and I experienced the same problem.
However, I am convinced that the font is indeed installed on my box:
$ dpkg -l | grep libgs9-common | cut -c 1-60
ii libgs9-common 9.02~dfsg-3
$ dpkg -L libgs9-common | grep -i urw
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWPalladioL-Roma
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-LighItal
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWPalladioL-Bold
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWGothicL-DemiObli
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWGothicL-Book
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWPalladioL-Ital
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-Ligh
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWPalladioL-BoldItal
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-DemiBold
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWGothicL-Demi
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWGothicL-BookObli
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-DemiBoldItal
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.02/Resource/Font/URWChanceryL-MediItal
Moreover, if I fire up gnumeric, I am able to select all the four
above-mentioned fonts (URW Chancery L included!).
I am therefore under the impression that this is a regression in
libreoffice.
Thanks for your attention: I hope this can be fixed easily.

Hello,
The problem is due either to poor installation package
or a particular problem for older version stable
which is no longer supported.
So, this bug is no longer valid.
Regards,
