In LibreOffice 5.0.2, there is no “Insert … from file” available. I assume this is now the “Insert → Document …” action. > Libreoffice is now locked up. The above procedure in LibreOffice 5.0.2 (from ‘libreoffice’ package version 1:5.0.2-1) does not produce a lock-up.
