This is still an issue with libreoffice 4.1.0.4 and XFCE 4.8. There is a solution that fixes this bug. From "Synaptic Package Manager" install the package named "libreoffice-gtk" and close any LibreOffice windows. Then restart libreoffice. This will fix this issue.
