Thanks for the quick reply. Though this is turning into a bit of a problem for me. Context: my company (http://www.microlinux.fr) provides 100 % GNU/Linux and FOSS solutions for professional users like small town halls, public libraries, private schools, small and medium companies, etc. All the solutions - server as well as desktop - are Debian-based, e. g. stable with a handful of backports. So far, this is the first really annoying bug, since the secretary of a private school where I installed it pointed it out to me, and I couldn't help her out.

Right now I'm giving Libre Office from backports a spin, but the last time I checked it out - 3.4.something on Slackware, I was mostly impressed by the myriad of bugs.

If there's an easy fix to this, it would come highly appreciated.
