No, and I didn't say that.

But what do you sugggest?

* Install -gtk for everyone who might not even use GNOME (-> no effect)? 
* Hardcode a bigger font size?
  (Moving the problem elsewhere, people might not like the bigger
  fontsize and even if they did it still would not necessarily align with 
  whatever your systems' default is)
