Package: openoffice.org-impress
Version: 1:3.2.1-11+squeeze2
Severity: important

When starting a presentation created by the impress package of
openoffice, the normal
editing window remains visible, and the presentation never shows up.
However, openoffice
acts *as if* there would be presentation showing, including advancing to
the next
slide with "space". It no longer reacts on the mouse, but returns to
normal mode if
the space bar has been pressed often enough. Apparently, the program
assumes to show
the presentation, though it never gets visible.
Probably the problem is related to the graphics setup of the machine; it
uses the "intel"
graphics driver which supports multiview, though is not configured to do
so. Impress does
not show a secondary monitor to present the notes on - the presentation
customizer remains
blank at the location where multiple screens would be supported.
For completeness, here is the output of xrandr -q --verbose:

The bug seems to be related to the 3.2.1 version only. The 3.3.0 version
of LibreOffice
works correctly on the identical setup.
