I find it very practical to keep the "Styler" window attached to the right side showing the "hierachical" view of all paragraph styles so that their interdependencies are visible. Sadly, this setting (i.e. hierarchical view) is never remembered. So every time I start OpenOffice.org I have to reset the view from "automatic" to "hierarchical". This got very annoying over time, and I think it is unexpected behaviour. The chosen view should be saved at program exit and reused automatically for the next session.
