Hello, After saving a presentation containing two slides with two different background pictures it gives the same picture on both slides after reopening. Example : make a new presentation with two empty slides A and B, set the background of A to a.png, set the background of B to b.png (replying no to "Background settings for all pages"), save the file, quit and open the file again: it should be ok.
