Consider the following sheet: aaa aac if you input "a" in the same column, calc will suggest you "aaa". Pressing TAB key is expected to change suggestion to "aac", but it inputs "aaa" and goes to the next to right cell > And where is it written that it does? I tried it and it doesn't work > in "normal" vanilla version either. You probably want Ctrl-Tab? > You say "anymore". When did it stop working? It stopped working after February/March upgrade. I suppose it was changed in "vanilla" version. There is a discussion in OOo forum about this feature http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=76939 Probably they change the behavior to be the same as in MS Excell. In fact I do not understand why. I use OpenOffice.Calc for data input. User downloads a sheet from a server, inputs some data and uploaded the sheet back. Server places suggestions in every column, so data input is very quick and easy. Yes, Ctrl-TAB realizes this feature, but earlier there was TAB. Ctrl TAB is not so convenient, particularly, when you would like to pass to the previous suggestion, you should press three keys, "Ctrl Shift TAB" instead of two. Anyway, may be we here, in Debian can have good old TAB? > > Severity: normal > > Sure? Formally, it concerns some particular feature.
