You claim it worked in 2.4.1? Is this the same bug? Is it different? (Note upstream set the issue http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=25850 to wontfix, because they claim the lock daemon didn't run (properly). Is it running properly for you?)
