Yes, the bug has gone from grave to just annoying, and it can be worked around. I was offering a better work-around: the substitution of the soffice file from 3.0. I was also reporting a flaw you might not have been aware of, as I did not see it discussed on the list. > You're using experimental. Live with breakage. That's a given. I'm trying to help out; I am not complaining. I fully realize that the merely annoying aspects may not be fixed until new code comes from upstream. If what I am doing isn't appropriate, please tell me, and I'll stop. I am getting a fair bit of work done with OpenOffice 3, both 3.0 and 3.0.1 builds. It is stable (even with my work-around), and I like the interface changes. I may be imagining things, but I think 3.0.1 is faster than 3.0. This is a worthy project, both upstream, and on the Debian end of things. -- Hawaiian Astronomical Society: http://www.hawastsoc.org HAS Deepsky Atlas: http://www.hawastsoc.org/deepsky -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-openoffice-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
