This bug talks about people downloading extensions and not knowing what to do with it. This works:
/usr/bin/openoffice bla.oxt so mapping this to /usr/bin/openoffice (openoffice.org-common) seems to do the trick for all kinds of extensions. > So what appluication do you assign it to?
