Package: openoffice.org-writer Version: 1:2.3.1-5 Severity: wishlist In /usr/share/applications/ooo-writer.desktop, the writer application is associated with the MIME type application/rtf. KDE 3, however, uses the MIME type text/rtf, so the "click on the document to open it" routine doesn't work with RTF documentes and OOo. Both MIME types are valid according to IANA.
I think for maximum compatibility it would be trivial to add text/rtf to the list of supported MIME types.
