The document attached contains a variable named k. When trying to modify
it, openoffice crashes.

I have tried to modify the variable in the document and this now works. This 
problem can no longer be reproduced in 1:2.4.0~rc6-1, so I'm marking this as 
fixed. Thanks for your report.
