Well, in my understanding, in the BTS, we determine if the bug is Debian-specific or not, and then we forward it if it is not. I hope to test Debian-Installer on a different machine this weekend. If the install goes well, I will test the crash.odp file on this fresh install. If the bug is not reproduced I will close it (I have no time either for deep investigations), and if it is reproduced, either I wait for 1:2.4.0~rc1-2.3pre or higher to be available in sid or experimental, or I forward the bug upstream. I will also try to reproduce the test on the machine where the crash happened, but on a separate account on which OpenOffice was never used.
