Hi!
OpenOffice does not use the file dialogs of the gnome desktop. Even
after deselecting "Use OpenOffice dialogs" in the Options
menu and restarting the dialog continues to be the original.
The widgets seem to be the ones from the gtk...

This is an old bug report; the use of Gnome dialog boxes in OOo has worked for
several recent versions of OOo.
I can not be more specific about when this was fixed since it has worked for me
as long as I have been using Debian.
