Just because the i386 buildd apparently doesn't have enough resources the i386 binaries (in this case -gcj for i386) are not yet built. If they were there it would work ok... (Which is not surprising given that the ppc buildd even is slower than a mac mini, which fwiw doesn't have a problem to build OOo with enough swap there) The problem here is that -gcj contains the jars from -java-common compiled into native and a mapping of the jars (checksum!) to the jar.sos. I am not sure what happens when those get out of sync, probably (at least some of ) jar.sos will not be used... There's a inconsistency in -gcj packaging globally, though, some stuff uses >= amd some =. Hmm. Grüße/Regards, René -- .''`.
