Hello; I spent the 6 hours and built the OO.o 2.1 debs for AMD64 from the official source in experimental. Nothing special; just the usual apt-get source && cd openoffice-2.1/ && dpkg-buildpackage -b -uc.
Just a friendly offer here to upload a build of OO.o 2.1 for AMD64. Let me know if this is or is not possible. I can imagine that there would be some kind of hesitation to allow such a thing for security reasons. Not sure what security practices are in place... Please CC me; I am not subscribed to this list.
