I posted to debian-amd64 today about inability to see a graphical logo in 64bit oowriter but which aren't a problem in my other system running OOo in a 32bit chroot. However, I can see the image you refer to although the link to the file is broken. It isn't crashing for me; it just shows the image icon with a break in it. This is using 2.0.4-1 in sid amd64.
