Maintainers of packages that depend on ICU -- I have uploaded icu_3.6~d02 to experimental. This is a beta version of ICU 3.6 which should hopefully be released in the relatively near future. I'm hoping to be able to do an ICU transition (with the release team's approval) in time for etch since new ICU releases are relatively infrequent and relatively stable. To this end, it would be helpful if you could test your packages against ICU 3.6. All you should have to do is change libicu34-dev to libicu36-dev in your build dependencies and rebuild. Thanks!
