Along with OOo, i have installed help packages from contrib (hoping that
they will enter in main in the future): the en-us and the it. Since i
haven't contrib in my sources.list, i have downloaded manually the deb
packages:
openoffice.org-help-en-us 2.0.0-3
openoffice.org-help-it 2.0.0-3
Then i have installed them with "dpkg -i". After that, they are
correctly reported under the "Obsolete and Locally Created Packages"
section.
Now, my question is: why does aptitude report me that
openoffice.org-help-it is in *main*? The en-us package, instead, is
correctly reported as belonging to contrib.
I have opened the deb archive and the "control" file seems to be ok,
reporting that the package belongs to contrib:
Package: openoffice.org-help-it
Version: 2.0.0-3
Section: contrib/doc
Priority: optional
Architecture: all
Depends: openoffice.org-core (>> 2.0.0), openoffice.org-common (>> 2.0.0-1)
Installed-Size: 24692
Maintainer: Debian OpenOffice Team <debian-openoffice@lists.debian.org>
Source: openoffice.org-help
Description: Italian help for OpenOffice.org
OpenOffice.org is a full-featured office productivity suite that provides
a near drop-in replacement for Microsoft(R) Office.
.
This package contains the Italian help for OpenOffice.org
Since my knowledge of the debian packaging system are not too much deep,
i can't understand the reason of such mismatch. Have someone else noted
the same behaviour, even with help packages of other locales? May i open
a bug?
Regards.
Cesare.
