Package: openoffice.org-gtk-gnome Hi,
hope "normal" isn't too high a priority for this bug. I use xfce4, and due to #241529 I needed to install openoffice.org-gtk-gnome to make the OOo menus visible. The menus now look great (quite beautiful, actually) but this package also includes the gnome file picker. ICK! I hate it! there's no file name entry line -- I find it intolerable. Anyway, my solution was to delete /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libfps_gnome.so . now the system works fine... so: is it possible to separate these two files into two packages: openoffice.org-gtk-theme openoffice.org-gnome-filepicker As long as #241529 is unresolved, I think such a separation would make sense. thanks, Matt Package: openoffice.org-gtk-gnome Version: 1.1.3-3 Severity: normal -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.23-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US Versions of packages openoffice.org-gtk-gnome depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-3 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.1-5 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.4.7-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.4.4-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.6.0-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.4-7 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libstlport4.6 4.6.2-2 STLport C++ class library ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System protocol client li ii openoffice.org-bin 1.1.3-3 OpenOffice.org office suite binary ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System client libraries m -- no debconf information -------------------------- .''`.
