I can't reproduce this. There were several changes in the screen rendering code since the last update.
Do you use gnome or kde, and did you install openoffice.org-gtk-gnome or openoffice.org-kde? If so, do you have a nonstandard theme installed? Do you have a lot of fonts installed that are not in the Debian archive? Thanks Chris
