I plan to release it at the same time as 1.1.2dfsg1-3 is released. Not sure when that is- > If not, maybe you can suggest me what is better to do - to compile > openoffice.org_1.1.3-1 with lt-fixes.diff or compile the latest (CVS) > version of upcoming openoffice.org_1.1.3-2? The latest CVS of OPENOFFICE_ORG_1_1_3 contains a file conflict (between openoffice.org and openoffice.org-l10n-en) and probably won't have the needed maintainer scripts for ttf-opensymbol. I'll need to merge the changed planned for 1.1.2dfsg1-3 to it... I'd go with 1.1.3-1 with lt-fixes, but don't forget that word-count.diff changed, too. > I know only one way to compile openoffice.org - first I'm doing > "apt-get source openoffice.org" and then "dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc" > > How I should compile CVS version ? Could you give me short instructions > what to do instead of "apt-get source openoffice.org" to get the latest > upcoming openoffice.org_1.1.3-2 ? 1.) wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/o/openoffice.org/openoffice.org_1.1.3.orig.tar.gz 2.) tar xfvz openoffice.org_1.1.3.orig.tar.gz 3.) cd openoffice.org-1.1.3.orig.tar.gz 4.) cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/debian-openoffice co -d debian oo-deb/debian 5.) debian/rules get-ooo-build 6.) debian/rules get-ooo-icons 7.) debian/rules get-libwpd 8.) dpkg-buildpackage -b -us -uc (-b because you don't need the time-consuming sourcepkg generation) Note that the _important_ 1.1.2dfsg1-3 changes are *NOT* yet merged...
