:) Well, the main problem here is that I cannot reproduce this on my machine, so trying to fix this is a long and difficult process. I installed xfce4 from unstable and tried it out, all works fine for me. So I need information on how to reproduce this on a clean setup. Maybe you can try to reproduce this in a clean chroot environment? See http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/reference/ch-tips.en.html#s-chroot for how to set up a chroot environment. Chris
