Everything is contained in /usr/lib/openoffice. I suggest you try the following: * Uninstall openoffice.org, openoffice.org-bin and dependencies * mv /usr/lib/openoffice /usr/lib/openoffice.old * Reinstall openoffice.org * rm -rf ~/.sversionrc ~/.openoffice * Start OOo. You should find you now have a clean installation. If it now works, there was something wrong with the permissions in /usr/lib/openoffice. Chris
