Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.0-6
Severity: normal

i want to import data from a text file (data.txt) where data are separate by a
space character.
so i select 'insert/external data' menu but after selecting the URL and the
separator, the field 'sheet available' is always empty.
i can not select nothing and the ok button is unselectable.

Hi Sylvain,

Txt,csv is not supported for this feature. At that dialog where the OK is
unselectable press "help" button:

External data

inserts data from an HTML, Calc, or Excel file into the current sheet. The
data must be located within a named range.
To import data from a *.csv or *.txt file, choose File - Open and then
select the Files of type "Text CSV".
