It's non-trivial to exclude the ximian patches from the "standard
package" and make an extra -ximian pkg or so.

The matter with the icon is that Taste differs :)
I know many people who _like_ the "new look".
maybe -- there are rumors some people like gnome, too ;-)
anyway, i reformulate and simplify the request: make changing of the icons
OOo possible.
