Package: openoffice.org Version: 1.1.0-6 Severity: normal This is somewhat strange as I also run openoffice.org on other i386 platforms without any problem.
I can highlight text and click the italic button. OpenOffice seems to think that the text is made italic (when I move the cursor through there, the button on the toolbar shows that italics is activated, and when opened on a different machine, the italics show). Yet on-screen, the text looks exactly like the regular text. I have tried this with it set both to the default Times New Roman font that existing documents use, and to Nimbus Serif. Same result both places. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.3-rc4 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages openoffice.org depends on: ii debianutils 2.6.2 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii dictionaries-common 0.20.1 Common utilities for spelling dict ii openoffice.org-bin 1.1.0-6 OpenOffice.org office suite binary ii openoffice.org-debian-files 1.1.0-6+1 Debian specific parts of OpenOffic ii openoffice.org-l10n-en [openo 1.1.0-6 English (US) language package for -- no debconf information
