The OO;org audio setup invlove quite some tweaking and use nas. When nas either mis or is badly configured for OO.org , clicking on a gallery sound freeze the app. Could you warn the user from debconf, use a mozilla like system (choose a sound server or choose none disabling application sound features) ?
