I don't actually see any mention of update-openoffice-dicts in your attached report. That has nothing to do with it, I'm afraid. That version does not have update-openoffice-dicts at all, so installing it is completely unrelated. My guess would be that it worked the second time you tried, regardless of what you did inbetween.
