Package: openoffice.org-bin Version: 1.1.0-1 Severity: normal
When upgrading from 1.1.0-1 to 1.1.0-2, I got a cascade of segfaults relating to prelinking in the preinstall script. Setting prelink to false didn't help. I had to put a hold on openoffice.org and openoffice.org-bin and install only the other openoffice.org updates. I apologize for not providing full information on the error, which occurred on two of my machines with fairly different hardware (both i686) -- the error was so severe that I had to force removal of all of openoffice and reinstall the old version, and now that I know where the error is I'd rather not go back! -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux sigillo 2.6.0-test9 #2 Tue Oct 28 11:53:24 PST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages openoffice.org-bin depends on: ii debconf 1.3.19 Debian configuration management sy ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.2.1-9 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.5-3 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib hi libgcc1 1:3.3.2-1 GCC support library hi libstdc++5 1:3.3.2-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxaw7 4.3.0-0pre1v4 X Athena widget set library hi openoffice.org 1.1.0-1 high-quality office productivity s ii xlibs 4.3.0-0pre1v4 X Window System client libraries -- debconf information: * openoffice.org-bin/prelink: true
