After I added <dir>/usr/share/fonts</dir> to /etc/fonts/local.conf they
all were there again. The only question that is remaining (and not
important) is why this entry has not added before automatically (by some
debian package).
Thanks a lot for the solution - I must admit that I only looked in
README and not in NEWS...
