Hi, > [ could you PLEASE not produce fullquotes? -> http://learn.to/quote ]
[get real .... the entire message was short ... and I am trying to help] The entire build works fine on my YDL 3.0 ppc box and I can't recreate any of the problems Jan is running into with his Debian machine
I don't know. As I said I just tried a build on bruckner (a Debian machine), but java* gives "Illegal instruction", so the build fails during ./configure....
What java are they using for the build? There was an old Blackdown build that was once built with a gcc that enabled G4 instructions by mistake. So if it was run on a G3 or lower machine it will result in an illegal instruction. Simply use the Blackdown JDK provided on the YDL mirror in the openoffice directory. Kevin
