At first, I had thought that these were relics from previous installs, but upon a fresh system reinstall this past week, I found these menu items still there. Please find a better place for them, either with the other OpenOffice.org items or possibly in the System Tools folder. In addition, not only have these items been stranded, they lack proper descriptions as well, being labeled now as merely "printeradmin" and "setup", looking extremely unprofessional and unpolished. This bug should probably be merged with #194578. However, that bug fails to mention the printeradmin item. Also, the fault, I believe, lies with this package, rather than with the main package. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux IndigoPlateau 2.4.21 #1 Tue Aug 5 22:58:55 CDT 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-1, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-1 Versions of packages openoffice.org-debian-files depends on: ii openoffice.org 1.0.3-2 high-quality office productivity s -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 205026-done) by bugs.debian.org; 17 Aug 2003 06:46:25 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 17 01:46:23 2003 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from ohsmtp02.ogw.rr.com [65.24.7.37] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 19oHJ1-0000Ca-00; Sun, 17 Aug 2003 01:46:23 -0500 Received: from 6-allhosts (cpe-066-061-018-017.midsouth.rr.com [66.61.18.17]) by ohsmtp02.ogw.rr.com (8.12.5/8.12.2) with ESMTP id h7H6kMHf003476 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sun, 17 Aug 2003 02:46:22 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Bug #205026 fixed with new packaging From: EspeonEefi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain Organization: EspeonEefi Productions Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Ximian Evolution 1.4.4 Date: Sun, 17 Aug 2003 01:46:21 -0500 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_01,USER_AGENT_XIMIAN version=2.53-bugs.debian.org_2003_8_15 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.53-bugs.debian.org_2003_8_15 (1.174.2.15-2003-03-30-exp) With the new packaging, the openoffice.org-gnome package takes care of removing all OpenOffice.org entries from the Gnome Applications | Other menu.
