Package: openoffice.org Version: 1.0.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #176045 I'm getting this exact problem. I had OpenOffice working fine til yesterday. Then it started crashing everytime I tried to load it. I purged thefiles but now I get:
Gnome session manager detected - session management disabled OpenOffice.org for Debian - see /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz running openoffice.org setup... /usr/bin/openoffice: line 161: 1451 Segmentation fault /usr/lib/openoffice/program/setup -R:/etc/openoffice/autoresponse.conf setup failed.. abort ---- Please read /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz for known problems ----- I've tried disabling fonts, etc. But nothing seems to work. Running: cd /usr/lib/openoffice/program; (LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. strace setup.bin 2>&1) | grep open | grep .ttf | tail gives me nothing, but when I try to run ./setup.bin it complains: ./setup.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libcomphelp2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux sparta 2.4.18-686 #1 Sun Apr 14 11:32:47 EST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages openoffice.org depends on: ii openoffice.org-bin 1.0.2-2 OpenOffice.org office suite binary ii openoffice.org-debian-files 1.0.2-2+1 Debian specific parts of OpenOffic ii openoffice.org-l10n-en 1.0.2-2 English (US) language package for -- no debconf information
